Where do dinkybox post (ship) goodies to?
dinkybox are located in England and are happy to post goodies to customers who have a confirmed residential billing address located within the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland), The Isle of Man and the Channel Islands (this includes the lovely Guernsey and Jersey). These are our only posting destinations - apologies but we do not post to any overseas destinations.  


Are there any postage restrictions?

Yes. Apologies but to ensure the safest and most secure delivery possible, we only post to the NAMED payment method account holder and to his/her UK CONFIRMED billing (payment method) address. We do not and cannot post to any person other than the named payment method account holder. We understand that you might wish to pay for goodies on behalf of another person or perhaps you wish to have your order posted to a different person as a gift, while this is a kind thought it does flag up all kinds of possible fraudulent payment warnings - quite rightly so. The same is true if you are ordering from outside of the UK. Please do make your payment in your name to your UK confirmed/verified billing address to prevent your order from being delayed/cancelled.

In order to provided the most user friendly and secure postage service possible, we post all goodies via the Royal Mail and via a signed for delivery service. Once signed for the package is considered delivered and, as such, we recommend that the signature is that of the customer and not that of a third party. To ensure that the customer has every opportunity to sign for the arrival of their purchase we do NOT post goodies to...

Anyone other than the NAMED payment UK (billing) account holder
Any address which differs fr
om that of the UK CONFIRMED account holders billing address
and most definitely we NEVER EVER post to P.O. Boxes,
Mail Boxes, Parcel Motels, Hotels/Motels, Colleges/Universities and Halls of Residence - if you provide a delivery address which is a Mail Box, Parcel Motel, Hotel/Motel, College/University or a Hall of Residence dinkybox your order will be cancelled and your payment will be refunded.


What postage options are there?

If your order has a value under £50.00 your order will be posted via the Royal Mail 2nd Class signed for delivery service. This is also the service available when being offered FREE delivery on ALL orders over £33.00. If your order has a value over £50 dinkybox can offer you an upgrade delivery option where, for a discounted fee of £6.90, you can pay for the Royal Mail special delivery service which guarantees delivery within 3 working days* provided your order is being posted to YOU and to YOUR confirmed billing account address.


How much is the postage (shipping) fee?

We offer FREE postage (shipping) for all orders over £33.00. Smaller orders ship for £3.90.
When you spend over £50.00 you will have an additional postage option made available to you. This postage option is via the Royal Mail and has a guaranteed delivery time frame and a discounted price of £6.90 for orders between £50 and £100.

Please note - the Royal Mail state that any package with a depth over 25mm (1inch) is classed as a small packet. You may think that it's only a bottle of ink or a small charm but if it's thicker in any direction than 25mm (i inch) the fee request by the Royal Mail for second class signed for delivery is currently £3.90 - exactly what we charge our customers! And remember, we don't add any extra costs for our super packaging which typically has a value over 80p per order. Groovy!



When will my order arrive?

On average, if you have received FREE postage or have paid £3.90 for postage, your fab delivery should arrive within 3 to 5 working days* from the date you placed your order. The fastest your purchase could arrive is within 3 working days* if your parcel has not arrived within 18 working days* then please contact us as the Royal Mail will now consider your package as 'undelivered' .

Extra note: Packages posted via the Royal Mail 2nd class signed for postage option do NOT have a guaranteed delivery date and while the average delivery is within 3 to 5 working days* it should be noted that the Royal Mail do not class a package as undelivered (missing) until 15 working days have passed from the date of dispatch. If your order value was higher than £50 and you opted to pay the discounted postage fee of £6.90 your order is guaranteed to arrive within the next 3 working days so long as you have paid for your order using your name and have requested your delivery to be sent to YOU via YOUR confirmed UK/Channel Islands billing address.


How will my goodie(s) be posted?

All goodies are posted with loving care, from our hands to your UK/Channel Islands home :)
All goodies (with the exception of flat based and very small items (paper pads, pens, badges/pins etc.,) are carefully hand wrapped in plenty of bubble wrap and packaged inside double walled sturdy (recyclable) cardboard boxes which are further protected by very bright coloured, groovy weather proof mailing bags.

Flat based goodies (such as paper) are posted via very sturdy carded envelopes with very small goodies (pins/badges, pens etc.,) making good use of jiffy bags. Whatever we send, we ALWAYS take the utmost care in ensuring your purchase arrives in perfect condition :)

ALL DELIVERIES INCLUDE...

    • Insurance cover up to £50 or up to the value of your purchase, whichever is the lesser for orders posted either for free or at a price of £3.90. If you have ordered goodies over £50 in value and have paid for the discounted special delivery service at £6.90, your order is insured for up to £500 in value.

    • A 'Keep Safe' service whereby your package will be looked after by the Royal Mail (rather than simply left on your doorstep), if you are unavailable at the time of the attempted delivery. If you are out when a delivery is attempted the Royal Mail should leave you a 'while you were out' card notifying you of the attempted delivery. You can also check to see if a delivery has been attempted by visiting the Royal Mail website and by entering your unique, Royal Mail reference number.

    • dinkybox will email your unique Royal Mail reference number, to your supplied email address, on the day your order is dispatched. If you have signed up for an account with dinkybox, you can also access your unique Royal Mail reference number by logging into your dinkybox account.

    • To use your unique, Royal Mail reference number, simply type your 13 character reference number into the space provided on the Royal Mail tracking page and press the “Track item” button. Please note that the Royal Mail 2nd class signed for delivery service is NOT a fully traceable (door to door) delivery option, as such the tracking part of the Royal Mail website will ONLY inform you if a delivery was attempted (i.e. the Royal Mail are holding your package for safe keeping) or if your package has been returned to dinkybox due to non-collection on the customers part (typically packages are held by the Royal Mail for a MAXIMUM of 15-18 days following the initial delivery attempt).

    • If your package is being held for safe keeping with the Royal Mail, you can phone your local office to arrange a re-delivery at a time and date that suits you. Alternatively you can collect your parcel from the Royal Mail in person (just remember to take some ID with you).

    • In many cases it may be possible to ask the Royal Mail for your held delivery to be re-delivered to an alternative delivery address within your original delivery postcode area or, for a small fee, re-delivery to another location. SUPER, SUPER IMPORTANT:


Super big apologies but sadly, if a package is returned to dinkybox due to the customer failing to arrange a re-delivery or failing to collect the package in person, dinkybox will need to deduct £3.90 from the refund total regardless of the postage free originally associated with the order. For example, if a customer received free postage, dinkybox will deduct the £3.90 that they paid to the Royal Mail in order to post the package, in the first instance (please note that this does not impact on consumer rights).
