MUSEUM COLLECTION - Dr.Slump and Dragonball
Spikey hair and massive eyes are still many people's instant thoughts when asked about the look of anime and manga and Akira Toriyama's massive Dragonball saga is probably responsible for that opinion more than any other series. Dr. Slump was an earlier (and funnier) Toriyama creation, but one that has crossed over into Dragonball on more than one occassion.

These superbly detailed and painted models from both series stand around 5" high and really do capture Toriyama's designs fantastically well.

Ready to defend Penguin Village from any troublemakers, here's Arale-chan in a typically cool Toriyama style mech. Standing about 5" high this superbly detailed model is pre-painted and requires no assembly at all (our sort of model making, then).

Here's robot-girl Arale-chan again, this time in a sort of flying chair mech affair. Again, superbly sculpted and requires no assemby or painting. It comes with a clear rod to hold it above the base, as if flying but we've omitted that here so we could get the chair as large as possible in the pic.

This is a great little diorama showing super absorbing, Dragonball baddie, Cell as he emerges from a stolen time machine. You also get the Cell egg and his little 'not yet evolved' form. Standing about 5" high this is a super detailed piece!

museum collection: DRAGONBALL - Son Gohan Dino Ridermuseum collection: DRAGONBALL - Son Gohan Dino Rider
produced by: Unifive

Dragonball's Son Gohan, out for a bug hunt (that's a net hanging off the front of the speeder) with a rather dopey-looking dino friend. Like the Arale-chan mech chair above, there's a clear rod that holds this fab model above it's base that we've left of so as to get the image a decent size. No assembly or painting required.
