Tomy .S Tomy .S (or 'dots' if you like) are little plastic peg boards that come with a stack of pegs that allow you to make up pixel pictures of classic 8-bit video game characters. Each box comes with two boards (with stands) and 520 pegs of different colours. You're not just limited to recreating the main pictures on the front of the boxes, though and each set comes with illustrations of other images you can create. |

Namco Character Swing
Great little capsules, each with a titchy icon from a Namco video game on a little chain (for hanging on keychains etc.).They're made of a sort-of rubbery material so they shouldn't break or scratch easily and we reckon they're pretty cool. |

Dragon Quest Crystal Monsters - Cube Type
There was a time, not so long ago, when the console RPG Dragon Quest was known to game fans for two things only: 1) Having characters designed by Akira (DragonBall) Toriyama and 2) Being bigger than Final Fantasy, but only in Japan. Now we've had Dragon Quest VIII on the PS2 over here, a smattering of Game Boy spinoffs and the news that the next big installment is heading to Nintendo's all-conquering DS so, hopefully, we're now all pretty clued up on Japan's premier role-playing series.
If there were a Dragon Quest merchandising iceberg, these little crystal monsters would probably be wobbling precariously on its tip such is the range of stuff available; but you've got to start somewhere. Each one is a perfect liitle square of lucite (a clear plastic) with a tiny, painted DQ monster embedded in its middle and while they're probably not heavy enough to replace a proper glass paperweight they do have a nice heft about them (in keeping with their RPG roots we'd say about +4 against a couple of envelopes).
There are five 32x32mm monsters and a bigger 50x50mm 'boss' monster to collect. |

Super Mario
Just how a slightly portly, mustachioed Italian plumber became a worldwide icon we're not quite sure but here he is, accompanied by his slightly psychedelic entourage of mushrooms, giant bullets and aggressive turtles. |

Final Fantasy III - Trading Arts Mini
Tieing in ever so neatly with the Nintendo DS, 3D-ised version of the venerable NES RPG classic this set of cool minifigs capture Akihiko Yoshida's redesign of the old 2D sprites excellently.
Each figure represents one of the different classes of character (or 'Job') you can choose to be in the game. They stand around 2.5 " (6cm) high and come with his, or her, own little stand. |

Ragnarok Trading Figure Collection
We were really blown away by the fantastic attention to detail and super-cute look of these figures from the Korean MMO. As the box will tell you they're 'compatible parts grade' which means you can swap heads, hairstyles and weapons to create your own unique character (which ties in very nicely to the character creation in the game itself). If you're lucky you might also find one of a number of special items to further personalise your character which range from bunny ears (!) to trusty hounds and even a William Tell apple with an arrow through it.
Overall box size: 110mmx90mmx35mm Each box contains: a sealed mini figure (slight self-assembly required) plus Japanese info sheet. Although we can offer a choice of character we can't guarantee you'll get any special items with your figure. |

Namco Pintre Collection
A very cool collection of official character pins (or badges if you're a British child of the 70's) from Japanese video game company - Namco. That, of course, means Pac-Man and the usual retro selection of Dig Dug, Mappy and Galaxians but there are some newer characters here as well. like the super-cute drums from Taiko no Tatsjuin and Namco's current puzzle king (and dinkybox fave) Mr.Driller!
Each badge is approximately 1" square (give or take a few mm) and is done in a process called cloisonne. The base and any outlines are metal and the colour is an enamel fill. Super shiny and very high quality. They're held on fast by a sturdy butterfly clip. |

Shadow of the Colossus
There are very few games around that have a real sense of 'grandeur' about them but this PlayStation 2 release from the team that had a fan favourite hit in Ico, some time before, is certainly one of them.
Each level consisted of just one objective - defeat a colossus; huge guardians that roamed a mysterious land. Some were big, others just plain massive but they all had to be brought down if you were to revive your strangely unconcious companion - Mono.
Each of the figures in this set stand between 50-90mm high and requires a couple of seconds worth of assembly. The attention to detail is amazing and they look exactly like their in-game counterparts. Good grief, even the box they come in is classy with a lovely matt finish.

Animal Crossing
While it got off to a slightly shakey start on the N64, Nintendo's 'communication game' - Animal Crossing is now firmly enconsed in the hearts and minds of millions of players across the globe.
Each of these AC plushes stands a decent 10" or so high and are official authorised designs. |

We're glad dinkybox isn't going up against Tom Nook's store; he's a canny salesman. Fortunately, for us, he's a bells only business. This goodie will be shipped seperately due to size. Approximate size: 10inches (25cm). Very cute and very cuddly (and rather large)!
