Here's some cool looking mechs from the Keroro Gunso (Sgt. Frog) anime/manga series about a platoon of frog-like aliens who are stranded on Earth after their invasion plans go arwy.

While probably a little fiddly for very small children, these kits are pretty easy to put together and even though all the written instructions are in Japanese the diagrams shouldn't prove any problem if you've ever made a model before. They don't require any glue or painting and come complete with stickers to spruce them up. Each of the robo's pilots can detatch from the main mech on what looks like a little hover scooter. We like that.

Note: Due to small parts and the usual choking hazard, none of these figures are suitable for under 3 years old little ones.

A cool black & white mech for Private Second Class Tamama. This kit snaps together and requires no glue or painting. Both the mech and Tamama are poseable and when put together, the finished robot stands approximately 13cm tall.

Lance Corporal Dororo's blue and white robo comes complete with a sword and what looks like a giant throwing star. There's no glue or paint needed to put together this model and it's poseable when finished.
