These cool guys are based on an amazing Taiwanese puppet theatre group who's TV show watches like a head-on collision of Asian fantasy cinema and Gerry Anderson Supermarionation! Fast cutting, special effects and super cool looking marionettes all go to make a series that's massive in Taiwan and all-but unknown over here (despite Cartoon Network doing a 'Monkey' on it, generally screwing it up and stopping it after a couple of episodes. Do a YouTube search for Pili puppets - you won't be disappointed.

We'd also like to apologise in advance for the, rather less than imaginative, names we've given them. Apparently some of the nicknames they're given in Chinese are a little difficult to translate. We'll try our best, though and update as and when we can do better.

Note: Due to small parts and the usual choking hazard, none of these figures are suitable for under 3 years old little ones.
