Established in the summer of 2001, the bizarre knights n' armour oddness that are Evirob (that's E-VI-ROB) come from Japanese collective Devilrobots. Apparently, the concept is based on weird icons and messages that appear in everyday life and Devilrobots describe this as 'another standard'. Here at dinkybox we're quite partial to a bit of japlish so we'll let it go this time. These really are great little Kubricks but don't go popping loose ones in your Christmas stockings unless you like the 'running ladder' look!

Each of the 5 Evirobs come in their own individual boxes so you'll know exactly which one you're getting. If you're a scholar of the fine art of Japanese companies mangling the Queen's English (the aforementioned 'japlish') you should get quite a bit of entertainment from the box alone.

Note: Due to small parts and the usual choking hazard, none of these figures are suitable for under 3 years old little ones.

If you can call an Evirob cute then for us it has to be Will (despite not being as flashy in the colour department as some of the others). Maybe it was the way his (and excuse us if use an incorrect term) stick with balls weapon was ever so slightly bendy.

We're tempted to believe that Mad is actually a girl Evirob judging by the little eyelash flecks on her mask eyes. That and the fact that with her mystical staff accessory she's obviously the magical sorceress type.

Here's a groovy twist - you can detach the horn either side of Armor's helmet and attach it to his hand making a very painful looking hand-held dagger/prodding device.

Perhaps the most flashy Evirob, Combine out horns even Sads of Son. His head bears the same symbol as Wil (which is exposed once you pop-off his rather vicious looking helmet) and he comes complete with an extremely large sword (relatively speaking).

Watch out! Sads has some seriously sharp pointy bits. But pop his helmet off and all he's got is a teeny, tiny head bearing a little 'e' with horns. Not so much scary as quite groovy, really. Sads comes with a fearsome double-ended spear accessory.
