Gloomy Bear Zipper Pulls

Born in Osaka (Japan) in 1973 graphic designer Mori Chack created this most unlikely of cuddly animal characters when he was asked to come up with a cute bear - "I felt that the real bear wasn't like that. Then, I draw secretly a violent bear with same method of drawing as that cute bear. That was Gloomy. For me, he seems very natural, and livelier than other general bear characters which are tamed by human beings".

What's more shocking than just a wild bear is the fact that a lot of times he's shown attacking the little boy - Pity - who rescued him when he was young. The blood you see on Gloomy Bear is there from literally scratching and biting the hand that feeds him.

Please note: Due to small parts and the usual choking hazard, Kidrobot have recommended that these figures are not given to anyone aged less than 15 years. In addition, this range of Gloomy Bear figures are NOT TOYS and are classed as collectable mini art which are best suited to be displayed rather than 'played' with.

"Designed with Love" this beautifully sculpted 5" (100mm) posed figure of Gloomybear comes complete with a translucent base and lovely packaging (just click the pic to see it). This really is a wonderful figure which is sure to be a prized piece in any Gloomy collection.

Kidrobot Gloomy Bear Zipper Pull/Charm
This totally cute Kidrobot series of Gloomy 'The Naughty Grizzly' zipper pulls/charms features a collection of 23 designs (yep, 23) including a very groovy 'chase' (unknown) figure too.
Normally sold as a blind assortment (i.e. factory sealed figure with no idea of the goodie inside) we have carefully pre-opened a selection to offer our customers (and fellow collectors) the opportunity to complete a full set or to simply choose the Gloomy they most desire, as such, please note that each of the choice figures have had their packaging carefully opened in order to identify the contents only and tha each of the groovy Gloomybear zipper pulls come complete with all original packaging. Cool.

The overall box size for each of these Gloomy zipper pulls is approximately: 50mm x 35mm x 30mm. Each charm measures around 25mm. Very dinky!

Note: Due to small parts and the usual choking hazard, none of these figures are suitable for under 3 years old little ones.
